J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS! The New York Jets, established in 1960 originally as the New York Titans, have become one of the most exciting franchises in the NFL. They have some of the strongest and most dedicated fans, supporting the team through the many ups and downs throughout the team’s existence. They share their home MetLife Stadium with the New York Giants, and they are at a constant turf war fighting for the pride and hearts of the entire tri-state area.
When in the AFL 'Gang Green' won the AFL East division twice in 1968 and 1969, and as a member of the AFC East division they have won it twice in 1998 and 2002. Their lone Super Bowl appearance was in Super Bowl III, when 'Broadway' Joe Namath guaranteed the win over the Baltimore Colts and led them to victory in one of the greatest Super Bowls of all time. Several Hall of Famers have put on the New York Jets uniform, and even more will put it on in the future.
